The short version
We collect the minimum needed to run the grader and, if you buy something, to deliver it: the domain and niche you grade, your email if you choose to give it, payment records handled by Stripe (we never see your card number), and basic first-party usage analytics. We don't sell your data, we don't run third-party ad trackers, and you can have everything deleted by emailing us.
What we collect and why
- Grade inputs — the domain and niche you submit, and the resulting report. This is the product; reports have unguessable link IDs and are visible to anyone who has the link.
- Email address — only if you provide it (to claim a report, verify, or buy). Used to send your report, a short follow-up sequence you can leave with one click, and receipts. Every marketing email has a working unsubscribe.
- Payments — processed by Stripe. We store what Stripe tells us (what was bought, for how much, by which email) to deliver your purchase. Your card details never touch our servers.
- Usage analytics — first-party events (page and funnel steps, a random visitor ID in your browser's storage, UTM/referrer of your visit) plus Vercel's aggregate web analytics. We use this to see which parts of the product work. No cross-site tracking, no advertising pixels.
- Server logs & rate-limiting — IP addresses are used to enforce free-grade limits and for error logs.
Who processes data for us
Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (site hosting and aggregate analytics), Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email delivery), Anthropic and DataForSEO (the AI-engine queries that power a grade — they receive the domain/niche being graded, never your email). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
If you connect an ad account (upcoming feature)
When campaign setup for Google Ads or Meta launches, connecting an account will use each platform's official sign-in (OAuth). We never see your password; we only access the ad account you explicitly connect; campaigns are created paused and are only activated by you; and performance data we read is shown only to you. Disconnecting revokes our access immediately, and you can also revoke it any time from your Google or Meta security settings.
Data deletion — how to get everything removed
Email lord@answerlord.com (or use the contact form) from the address you used, with the subject “Delete my data”. We'll delete your grades, lead record, analytics rows tied to your email, and account (if any) within 30 days, and confirm by reply. Payment records are retained only as long as tax and accounting law requires.
